Trauma-Informed | Holistic & Culturally Responsive Care

Welcome. I’m Jessica Eriksen, a Clinical Mental Health Counselor with over five years of counseling experience and more than 15 years as an educator. I specialize in working with individuals navigating trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, substance use, ADHD, life transitions, grief, OCD, and interpersonal conflict. I have a deep commitment to serving BIPOC and LGBTQ+ communities and strive to provide a space that is inclusive, affirming, and rooted in cultural humility.

My therapeutic approach is psychodynamic and existential-humanistic, meaning I believe deeply in your innate capacity for healing, growth, and meaning-making. I see therapy as a collaborative journey where you are the expert on your own experience—and my role is to guide and support you with presence, compassion, and curiosity.

As an IFS Level 2 trained therapist, I help clients explore and connect with their inner parts, access Self, and facilitate transformative healing. I also bring a holistic lens to my work, integrating mind, body, heart, and spirit—often weaving in elements of yoga philosophy, mindfulness, breathwork, and conscious movement. I am trained and experienced in evidence-based modalities including CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, and Exposure and Response Prevention (ExRP). While I integrate these approaches as needed, my preferred method is Internal Family Systems (IFS), which I have found to be a deeply transformative and empowering approach for self-discovery, emotional healing, and lasting change.

My approach is further informed by my diverse background: I’ve served as an educator, addictions counselor, domestic violence counselor, and advocate for families and youth. I come from a lineage of healers—my great-grandmother was a Curandera (Mexican shaman) who practiced earth-based, intuitive healing. That legacy inspires my intuitive, heart-centered work with clients today.

I am passionate about helping people reconnect with their inner wisdom, foster resilience, and cultivate meaningful lives. Whether you’re seeking healing, clarity, or connection, I am honored to walk beside you on your journey.
